And now, after ten years, in October, we invite the people we love most, who have
held us and carried us here, to witness as we step into the rest of our story.

2026 now

In February, beneath the Northern
Lights in Fairbanks, Frank proposed
to Patrick, with the stars above
bearing witness to our promise.

This year brought its share of
challenges. When Frank went
through surgery and a difficult
season of recovery, Patrick was there
every step of the way. More than ever,
it was a time that showed us what “in
sickness and in health” truly means.

This was a year of beauty and wonder,
of collecting moments we knew would
stay with us forever:

sunrises and sunsets by the sea,

a rainbow cast across Niagara Falls,
the Gemini meteor shower overhead,
countless lanterns rising into the sky,
the fall colors in the Smoky Mountains,
and Christmas lights in New York City.

2023 YEAR eight

Our little family grew by four paws.

Haku came into our lives and made
everything a little louder, a little
messier, and a lot sweeter.

At last, we were reunited. We closed
the distance, bought a home of our
own, and began building the life we
had long imagined together.

2021 YEAR six

A pandemic and long distance put
our love to the test. Between closed
borders, face masks, and the
uncertainty of it all, we learned how
to fill our small apartment with joy,
laughter, and love — even if it meant
cutting each other’s hair.

So much changed this year. We
graduated, traveled to South Korea,
began documenting our life together,
and set off for different countries to
continue our studies. Life began
pulling us in new directions, but
somehow, we kept finding our way
back to each other.

2019 YEAR four

Our dates were wonderfully ordinary:
long walks through the city, quiet
hours in the library, and crossing
Beijing from one end to the other just
to spend a little more time together.

2018 YEAR THREE

Sri Lanka, the pearl of the Indian
Ocean, was where we took our first
trip together. In the warmth of the
tropics, with the sea all around us,
our love grew deeper and warmer.

2017 YEAR two

Two young college students decided,
after just one month, that this was
something worth choosing.

It was the beginning of us.
